EYE-POPPING is a concept-building, as concept-cars in car industry, something that enables us to research and update abstract organizations and techniques that later on are applied to conventional cars, or architecture.
EYE-POPPING is a public space-building thought to be constructed in big cities of Spain.
There are 23 shapes for 23 different sites. You can choose your model: extended stands or vertical ones; surrounding the arena, or with stands on only two sides; with sunny seats, or only shaded ones.
EYE-POPPING is a bullfighting arena to watch the fiesta sitting, standing, or lying. It is a huge pillow, a soft, smooth and comfortable surface on which one can stand or lie down.
This giant pillow, made by carbon fibre structure, shields from the sun and the rain the big public space that covers. The circular roof hides a round commercial building underneath, with bars and shops open to the covered space under the stands.
EYE-POPPING is also a communal giant bed wrapped by typical gitana dress patterns. There are 23 dotted dresses around that, with dots that are fluorescent at night and change their colour with temperature during the day: Eye-popping arena.
